Drysdale Falls
This 40 foot waterfall located on Bailey’s Brook is one of the cleanest in the province. Situated just around the corner from the Folly River this waterfall is an excellent addition to a high water run.

The Clean Blunt is basically an aerial blunt done without the use of a paddle stroke. This is one of the more difficult clean moves because you have to initiate your bow without any pre-established momentum.

The 45 team.

The put in bridge.
This was the first thing I heard from Harry after Ian Cambell, Jeff Billings and I met up with him and Danny Coates in Alma for a run on the 45. The 45 rarely gets enough water to be run and it was only recently discovered as a whitewater gem last year. Ian Cambell had the most experience on this run having done it each time it’s been run a total of four previous times, I had run it once and the rest of the crew were in for a new experience. I quantify this run as an instant classique and since I took care of what was needed to be done in class on Monday I was all game for playing shinny. Harry later warmed up to the idea of me missing class as we had a phenomenal day on the river. Here is the rest of the story.
