Anyo Nuevo.
After spending new years in Turriable we hopped on the bus and headed over to La Virgen. The place where the boys stayed last time was closed after new years so we decided to drop by a beautiful pace called Rancho Leona. after settling in we ran the upper stretch on the Rio Sarapiqui which was a beautiful run and our first taste of aqua blue whitewater. this river is known as the cleanest river in costa rica. The Rio Sarapiqui has been the most beautiful to date. The river was a little low the first day but still a treat it just meant that the class 4 rapids got a little more technical as we had to dodge boulders. This was a great treat to hop on this river after having driven most of the morning. It also helped some of us rid that hangover.

After a snowy car wreck ridden trek to Boston six Stellar New Brunswick boaters hopped a plane to San Jose. Then names of theese boaters are as follows Ever slow to get ready Danny Coates, master of disaster Ian Campbell, (poopy) Martin Leger, (H)Andrew (von catchawackher) Devost, Trip organizer (hombre huello) Laurie Brown, and Myself ( Gordito , somehow i picked up the nickname that means little fat boy in spannish) . Chad Hitchins from Liquid Skills was able to hook us up with a fantastic deal on a 21 seater tour bus. our driver Almondo met us at the airport in San Jose and then drove us down to Turrialbe. We arrived quite late and decided to have some cervezas to celebrate our ariival in a beautiful and exotic new country.
