All I want from Teva Mountain Games is my two front teeth
The Teva Mountain games ended on the weekend and I ended up in dead last in almost every event…because I knocked my teeth out in the second one (Homestake creek race) and couldn’t do anything else!
The creek is a piece of crap, it’s shallow and manky at the start then the drops become more defined and it’s nicer. There was a pile of rocks near the start that everyone was ploughing over and I caught one of the rocks weird during the race and it flipped me really really hard onto some more rocks. I guess I was hungry because I basically bit the rock. I broke my two front teeth, and put a hole through my lip, or just under it that I had to get stitched up. I spent 6 hours in the dentists chair, got root canals on both of my teeth, posts for extra support and temporary caps that kind of look like Chiclets. When I get back to Canada I’m going to get permanent replacement teeth put in. My hospital bill and dental bill came up to $5000 US!!! Thank god for medical insurance, they covered it all, even my prescriptions.
I have the biggest bottom lip on earth right now, I can’t say anything with âfâ in it, so I sound ridiculous and it takes me forever to eat anything.

Great way to represent Canada by sporting the clasic hockey teeth. Bought one of those freestyle audio thingys and I seem to like.
