A few months ago I was contacted by Patrick Camblin who had an excellent idea for a website.Patrick wanted a website built that would be a competition open to kayakers around the world that would give them the ability to upload their videos to the website and give anyone that signs up the ability to vote on the videos.

The competition is designed to push the sport of Freestyle Kayaking to the next level. Each competitor is allowed to submit videos with 3 rides shot on the same day on the same wave.

Members of the website will be the Jury. They will give each video a thumbs up or a thumbs down.

The final say goes to the Judges who are Shane Benedict, Jimmy Blakeney and Paul Danks, all people who really know the sport well and far exceed the qualifications it takes to be a Judge.

The video competition starts on April 1st, 2007.
