Wave Sport College Tour

So I get to West Virginia just as one of the coldest weeks in history is arriving. There’s a foot of snow on the ground and everyone is telling me that it’s the coldest it’s been in over a decade, woo hoo, wicked timing on my part. It actually ended up working out pretty well as Wave Sports college tour was scheduled for most of the cold snap.

Fine Company

It’s quite humbling paddling with Steve Fisher, Eric Jackson and Billy Harris but I wouldn’t trade it for all the snow in Atlantickayakerville. Tomorrow is the fourteenth day in a row for me and the Nile is high. The best way to describe it is a 12 foot high breaking wave with huge bounces at the top of a wave train that is like the Reversing Falls at low tide. Read more

WWWP-warm water winter paddling

I left home in Hampton on January 24th at 4am so that Dustin, my daughter’s boyfriend, could start work at the car auction in Halifax. This is a rough journal of my time in Africa. I love it here. I love this island in the Nile. I also love my new apple laptop and my new Jackson Allstar.
The flight was the next day so I got a few last minute things in Halifax. The next day Dustin dropped me off at the airport and headed to Moncton to another auction.
