The North Branch of the Meduxnekeag

The North Branch of the Meduxnekeag is another nb spring classic creek. When you park at the put in you have a good vantage point of the first drop, which is an epic slide. Locals may call you crazy for running it but it is always nice to show you’re hangover skills in front of spectators.

The second drop (surveilance drop) is a fifteen footer that has a line on far river left. River right has a nasty backwash that would hold a swimmer indefinitely. scouting is possible for all horizon lines on this river and if you combine this run with a run on the Shogomoc you encouter a phenominal day on the water
